Survivor Mini Conference

Walk in My ShoesNow in its sixth year, the “Walk in My Shoes” Mini-conference has been held at different scenic hotels and state parks around the state.  Funded through a grant from the Office for Victims of Crime this conference is for survivors who are actively involved through employment or volunteerism in anti-violence efforts.

Starting on a Friday afternoon and continuing through Saturday afternoon the conference focuses on out of the box strategies for ongoing healing, advocacy, and empowerment.  Uplifting, dynamic personalities join us and together we unite to show everyone that there is life after sexual assault and trauma.  It is a day and a half of releases from the ever day stresses of life.   INCASA encourages survivors to come join with others, learn about the Statewide Survivor Network STAND, get involved, and refresh just in time for the holidays.

This mini-conference is planned for the later part of the year and it is sponsored by the Office of Victims of Crime along with INCASA.   Check periodically on the website for more information on this great event.

Come join us for Great Education and Information and get involved!  Lots of great sessions on non-traditional approaches to healing. Information on managing finances, and great discussion on the Indiana Survivor Network!
